REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
JUNE 14TH 1982

SUBJECT: ANNUAL A.M.O. CONFERENCE, ROYAL YORK HOTEL, TORONTO
AUGUST 22ND TO AUGUST 25TH, 1982
RECOMMENDATION:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That Council appoint four voting delegates ; and
3. That the Clerk forward a certified registration form listing
the voting delegates to the Association Offices in Toronto.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
This Department has just received the A.M.O. Conference Announcement and
Pre-Convention Registration Forms. As well , a copy of the registration form
for Official Voting Delegates has been supplied. Copies of all of the
documentation are attached for Council ' s information.
It would be appropriate, for Council to determine and appoint the Town's
Voting Delegates and have that information forwarded to the Association as
soon as possible.
Voting Delegates
The Town of Newcastle is entitled to appoint four voting delegates. In addition,
the Mayor is automatically a voting delegate by virtue of holding office on the
A.M.O. Board.
