REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE. AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
MAY 3, 1982

SUBJECT: BOWMANVILLE CREEK ANGLERS ASSOCIATION REQUEST
FOR EXTENSION OF THE CLEAN-UP AGREEMENT FOR
THE VALLEY LANDS

RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2, That the Agreement with the Bowmanville Creek Anglers Association
permitting the Association to clean-up the Valley Lands be extended
and remain in force until such time as the subject lands are
acquired by C.L.O.C.A.. -
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
It is anticipated that the Valley Lands will be conveyed to the Central
Lake. Ontario Conservation Authority within the next few months. (refer
to the Admi:nistrator's report to G,P.A. on the conveying of the subject
Lands) .
The Bowmanville Creek Anglers Association have expressed an interest in
having the clean-up agreement authorized by Council on June 29th 1981
(Council Resolution #C-370-81) renewed until such time as the lands are
transferred to C.L.O.C.A. later this year.
