REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
APRIL 5, 1982

SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF TILE DRAINAGE LOAN
VICTOR RUDIK, LOT 6, CONCESSION 2
OUR FILE: 10.29. 108.
RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. That this report be received; and
2. That the Tile Drainage Loan Application
submitted by Mr. Victor Rudik on September
23, 1978, in the amount of $8,000.00, be
approved; and
3. That the application be processed when
Provincial funds become available; and
4. Further that Mr. Victor Rudik, 1855
Rosebank Road North, Pickering, Ontario,
L1V 1P7, be so advised.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Mr. Rudik submitted his Tile Drainage Loan Application on September
23rd 1978. At that time, he was advised that no funds were available
nor would his application be considered until a drainage plan had been
made available to the muncicipality. Subsequently, Mr. Rudik proceeded
to have the lands tile drained without having staisfied the Town's
concerns. The application has remained in the pending file until it
was reactivated in February 1982. In response to my correspondence,

Mr. Rudik supplied a drainage plan and an invoice for the works
undertaken.
The Public Works Department have reviewed the application and
supporting documentation, and would recommend that the application
be approved.
The final inspection of the project cannot be undertaken until spring
at which time, the Work's Department will carry out the inspection and
prepare an "Inspection and Completion" Certificate. It is appropriate,
that the Committee give consideration to the application at this time,
so that if it is approved, the funds can be allocated as soon as they
are available from the Province.
