QUOTATION NO. Q87-9, OILS AND LUBRICANTS
The Quotations were received and tabulated as per Schedule "A" attached.
The quoted prices represent an average of a 0%-6a decrease. This is largely due
to increased volumes as well as a further decline in oil prices over the past
year.
The required funds will be drawn from the Current Operating Fleet budget from
which there are adequate funds available.
After tabulating and reviewing the bids, it was mutually agreed by Purchasing
and Public Works staff, that the low bidder, Petro Canada Products, Downsview,
Ontario, be recommended for the supply contract of oils and lubricant products
as required by the Town of Newcastle.
Respectfully submitted, Recommended for presentation
to the Committee,
