SELF-INSURED LOSSES RESERVE 1986
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administra-
tive Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . That report TR-56-86 be received; and
2. That, the theft of parking signs located in Orono, with a total
replacement value of $56.64 be funded through the Self-Insured
Losses Reserve.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
The attached police report and memorandum on costs, detail the events of the
occurance. Since these costs fail below the Town's deductibility limits, they should
be funded from the Self-Insured Losses Reserve.
The balance of the Self- Insured Losses Reserve as of July 10th 1986 is
$20,322.16.

SUBJECT: Theft of Parking Signs-Orono

Pursuant to our discussion regarding this matter, our replacement costs for the
stolen and damaged items are as follows :
a) Two (2) - two hour parking limit signs - $10.54 x 2 = $ 21.08
b) One (1) - No Parking Sign 5,40
c) One (1) - U-Flange Post 16.96
d) Associated Hardware 13.20
Total cost. . . $ 56.64
I have attached a copy of the corresponding Police report.
