Self Insured Losses Reserve
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to Council the following:
1 . That report TR-26-86 be received; and
2. That the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend
to Council the replacement of the spring riding horse which
disappeared from the playgrounds at Burketon Park. The replace-
ment cost as quoted from Hendersen Recreation Equipment, Norwich,
Ontario is approximately $308.00 and should be funded from this
Self- Insured Losses Reserve.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
The attached letter from the Burketon Park Board is self explanatory.
Since the replacement cost is below the Town's deductable limits, the
purchase should be funded from the Self-Insured Losses Reserve.
The balance of the Self- Insured Losses Reserve as of April 14, 1986 is
$20,622.34.
Respectfully submitted,
J.R. Blanchard,
Treasurer.

Dear Mr. Blanchard:
With regard to the stolen spring horse from Burketon Park, we have
obtained a replacement cost figure of $308.00 from Henderson
Recreation Equipment of Norwich, the same company that the original
one had been purchased from. They also advised that there are horses
in stock now.
We trust this is the information you require.
