RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1 . That this report be received; and

BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
In accordance with Resolution #GAP-89-86, a tender was publicly advertised and invited for
the supply and delivery of two only 1986 50,000 G.V.W. Cab and Chassis, as required by the
Department of Public Works. Tenders were received and tabulated as follows :

After review of the bids by Purchasing and Public Works, it was mutually agreed that
the bid from Scarborough Truck Centre, Agincourt, Ontario, be recommended for the
Tender award.
