SELF-INSURED LOSSES RESERVE -
EAGLES JUNIOR "C" HOCKEY CLUB DAMAGES
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administra-
tive Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . That this report be received, and
2. That this report be recommended for consideration for funding
from the Self Insured Losses Reserve in the amount of $700 at
such time as the cause of the problem can be rectified and the
chance of its recurrence is reduced.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
Staff have received a letter from the Eagles Junior "C" Hockey Club.
[attached] . This problem has occurred previously and Community Services'
Staff are investigation methods to resolve the situation.

! Dear Mrs , Campbell :
The Bowmanville Eagles Junior "C" Hockey
j ! Club have just started their hockey season in the
Bowmanville arena and we now have blue paint shins
j on our new white hockey shirts . The Club has spent
approximately : 35.00 per shirt for 20 players this f
year and now they are all marked with blue paint.
We feel that the Hockey Club should be J
compensated for this problem, please advise: at your l
earliest convenience .
