REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
APRIL 15, 1985
REPORT NO. : TR-19-85
' SUBJECT: SELF INSURED LOSSES RESERVE
-- RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council that items lost in March
25th 1985 breakin at the Darlington Sports Centre totalling $797.31 be
replaced from funds held in the Self-Insured Losses Reserve.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
The attached police report and summary of costs, detail the events of
the occurance. Since these costs fall below the Town' s deductibility
limits, they should be funded from the Self-Insured Losses Reserve.
The balance of the Self-Insured Losses Reserve as of April 1st 1985 is
$26,194.14.

During the early morning hours of P1arch 25th, 1985, there was a breakin
at the Darlington Sports Centre.
The following equipment and products were taken:
1 Danasonic microwave - Model 7850 673.03
5 cartons of cigarettes 71.05
2 boxes of chocolate bars 23.80
There was one window broken at a repair cost 29.43
TOTAL 797.31
