REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
OF FEBRUARY 4, 1985.
REPORT NO. : TR-7-85
SUBJECT: FINAL SUBSIDY ON EXPENDITURES IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
FROM JANUARY 1 TO DECEMBER 31 , 1984.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . That this report be received; and
2. That the Treasurer be authorized to petition to
Ministry of Transportation & Communications for Final
Subsidy on expenditures in the Public Works Department
from January 1 to December 31 , 1984.
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
It is a requirement by the Ministry of Transportation
and Communications that we have the resolution authorizing the final
petition for the period January 1 to December 31 , 1984 to Committee &
Council for approval and place it with the petition for payment.
This resolution can be general in nature to cover the total
expenditures as determined at the close off the 1984 financial year.
