BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
1. BACKGROUND
1.1 Our report covers the month of April, 2002. It is our intent to provide Committee
with information relevant to this department, in a timely manner.
2. REPORT
2.1 The department responded to 204 calls in April and recorded total fire loss at
$195,420. A breakdown of calls responded to follows in the table attached.
*Standby
As indicated in the table attached, Station 1 part-time firefighters were activated twice,
and Station 2 part-time firefighters once in April to standby, while Pumper 1 and Pumper
4 responded to emergency calls.
Station 4 part-time firefighters were called out four times. Twice to standby while full
time crews toured D.N.G.S. and twice while Pumper 1 & Pumper 4 were tied up at
emergency calls.
