REPORT TO COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 3, 1984 .

SUBJECT : TENDER T84-14 - REROOFING BOWMANVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY
RECOMMENDATION :
It is respectfully recommended to Council :
1 . That this report be received ; and
2 . That Cherwill Roofing Ltd . , Brampton , Ontario with a
total bid , in the amount of $29 , 220 .00, being the lowest
responsible bidder meeting all terms , conditions , and
specifications of Tender T84-14 be awarded the contract
for the roof repl acement of the Bowmanv i 1 le Publ is
Library , 62 Temperance Street, Bowmanville, Ontario ; and
3 . That the project be funded as fol l ows per previous report
TR-61 -84 :
Lot Levies - Reserve Funds $10 ,000 .
Contingencies $10 ,000 .
4 . That additional funding be provided for as follows :
Lot Levies - Reserve Funds $4 ,610 .
Contingencies $4 ,610 .

Tenders were publicly advertised and invited for the roof
replacement of the Public Library , 62 Temperance Street ,
Bowmanville , Ontario .
Bids were received and tabulated as follows :
