That this report be received; and 2. That the expenditures related to the repair and/or replacement of the soccer field goal posts (approximately $700) be funded from the Self Insured Losses Reserve. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: There have been two instances of vandalism occurring on May 22nd 1984 and May 13th 1984 in the Waverly Road Park, (memorandum attached). The police have been notified in both cases and are investigating. Staff have proceeded to have the repairs and/or replacements made so as not to unduely affect the use of the playing field. s 2 - TR-47-84 BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: (continued) The cost of these repairs fall below the Town's current deductible limit in its insurance coverage and therefore should be funded from the Self-Insured Losses Reserve which was provided for this purpose. Both G. A. Kennett: and I were at Haverly Park on Sunday morning regarding one (1 ) of the new cloal posts was severly damanged by persons unknown. G. A. Kennett discovered Hie damarled goal post as he was driving by �;laverly Road Park. Ile immediately phoned the l'olice. I was driving by the park at about 10: 15 a.m. when I saw G. A. Kennett, Program Director, discovered the other new goal post damaged at 14averley Park this morning, Tuesday, May 22, 1984 at 7:30 a.m. I understand Mr. Kennett has reported this act of vandalism to the Police.
