REPORT TO GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
HELD MAY 7, 1984

SUBJECT: TENDER T84-8, TRACTOR--COMPACT TYPE, COMPLETE WITH LOADER
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . that this report be received; and
2. that Queensway Ford Equipment Sales, Peterborough, Ontario with a total
bid of $15,493.60 being the lowest responsible bidder meeting all terms,
conditions, and specifications of Tender T84-8 be awarded the contract
to supply and deliver one only Ford Model 1910 Tractor and Loader to
the Town of Newcastle as required by the Department of Community Services;
and
3. that the funds be drawn from the 1984 approved Community Services
capital budget of $15,500.00.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
A tender was publicly advertised and invited for the supply and delivery of
one only 1984 Compact type Tractor complete with front end loader as required by the
Department of Community Services.
