REPORT TO GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
HELD APRIL 16, 1984

SUBJECT: TENDER T84-3 - 3/4 TON CREW CAB PICK UP TRUCK
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . that this report be received; and
2. that Cowan Pontiac Buick Ltd. , Bowmanville, Ontario with a total bid in the
amount of $12,830.37 being the lowest responsible bidder meeting all terms,
conditions , and specifications of Tender T84-3, be awarded the contract to
supply one only 1984 GMC 3/4 Ton Crew Cab Pick Up Truck, as required by the
Town of Newcastle; and
3. that the funds expended be drawn from the 1984 capital budget allocation
($13,000.00) for Community Services Account #7603-504-1-4.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
Tenders were publicly advertised and invited for the supply of one only 1984
Crew Cab 3/4 Ton Pick Up Truck as required by the Department of Community Services.
Bids were received and tabulated as follows:

Cowan Pontiac Buick for the supply and delivery of the vehicle tendered above.
