SUBJECT: FINAL SUBSIDY ON EXPENDITURES IN THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT FROM JANUARY 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1983.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the
following:
l. That this report be received; and
2. That the Treasurer be authorized to petition
to the Ministry Of Transportation &
Communications for Final Subsidy OD
SXp8DdftVre3 in the Public Works Department
from January 1 t0 December 31, 1983.

BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
It is a requirement by the Ministry of
Transportation and Communications that we have the reSO7WtfOn
authorizing the final petition for the period January l to
December 31, 1983 t0 Committee & Council for approval & place
it with the petition for payment. This resolution can be
general in nature t0 cover the total expenditures as
determined at the close Off the 1983 financial year.
