REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
HELD ON SEPTEMBER 6, 1983.

SUBJECT: Ontario Hydro Grant
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
1 . That this report be received for information.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The Town received the monies totalling $65,000.00 from Ontario Hydro which
is to be split as follows:
Newcastle Public Library Board $35,000.00
Bowmanville Museum Board $20,000.00
Clarke Museum Board $10,000.00
$65,000.00
These monies have been paid, in full , to each individual board. Any outstanding
indebtness of the various boards is to be paid from current funds, not funds
received from Ontario Hydro Impact Studies.
