SUBJECT: NEWCASTLE ARENA MANAGEMENT BOARD BUDGET FOR 1983
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the 1983 Budget of the Newcastle Arena Management Board
be received for information.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
In reviewing the 1983 Budget (schedule I) in relation to the 1982 actual
operating results (schedule II) , it appears that the budget reasonably
represents the anticipated revenue and expenditure for 1983.
Committee will note that the 1983 Budget is slightly less than the 1982
actual operating results. In 1982, there were a number of capital repairs
that were undertaken through a grant program, which will not be occurring
in 1983.
