SUBJECT: HANDI TRANSIT INC. - SUBSIDY APPLICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
1. That the Treasurer be authorized to make application to the
Ministry of Transportation and Communication for subsidy
allocation for the Transportation of the physically disabled
f or the year 1983.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The request for allocation of subsidy funds is to be made once a year if
any subsidy funds will be required. The subsidy is paid at the rate of
50% of the expenses incurred or $1.815 per capita whichever is less.
Allocations must be received and approved prior to processing of any
payments of subsidy claims.
