REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION MEETING HELD ON
MARCH 21, 1983.

SUBJECT: SELF-INSURED LOSSES RESERVE - DARLINGTON SPORTS CENTRE - BREAKIN
RECOMMENDATION:

It is respectfully recommended:
1 . That this report be received; and
2. That $1,417 be taken from the Self-Insured Losses Reserve in
favour of the Darlington Sports Centre to cover damage and
loss of supplies.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On January 27th, 1983 the Darlington Sports Centre was broken into and
various items were stolen. These items (Microwe Wave Oven, 18 cartons
of Cigarettes, 3 cartons of 1982 Hockey Album Stickers) and the repair costs

for the two doors which were damaged came to $1,417. (see attached Police
Report).
Committee will recall the Self-Insured Losses Reserve was established
through the premium savings which resulted form the increase in the de-
ductibility limit and the balance of this reserve as of December 31st,
1982 is $16,490,
