REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
HELD FEBRUARY 7, 1983.

SUBJECT: PETITION FOR SUBSIDY UNDER THE PROVISONS OF THE PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION AND HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT ACT ON EXPENDITURES
MADE DURING THE YEAR 1982.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
"That the Treasurer be authorized to petition the Ministry
of Transporation and Communication for Final Subsidy on
expenditures in Public Works Department from January 1 to
December 31, 1982."
Inorder, that the statements are not held up past the deadline date, of
February 23, 1983, staff ask that the Council pass the necessary Resolution
to authorize the petition for subsidy prior to the actual preparation
and submission of the petition.
