Subject: CONTINUITY CASH ACTIVITY REPORT - FEBRUARY TO MAY, 1991
PART A
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. That report TR-55-91 be received; and
2 . That, in accordance with provision of Chapter 302, Section 81 ( 1)
of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, the Treasurer reports to cM
Committee that the cash position of the Town of Newcastle for the
month ended May 31, 1991, is as shown on the attached schedule;
and
3. That Part A of the expenditures for the months of February 1 to
May 31, 1991 be confirmed.
BACKGROUND & COMMENTS
The attached schedules indicate the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle's
cash transactions, the cash and investment position, lot levy information
and statistical information for the months of February to May 31, 1991 and
the comparative information for the months of February to May 31, 1990 .
This Cash Activity Report has been prepared in a summary format for the
months of February to May 1991. A copy of each months report will be made
available for review upon request in the Treasury Department. Due to the
absence of the Tax Collector during this period of time the reports were
not prepared on a monthly basis, but will return to this format commencing
with the June 1991 report.
