FUNDING - ELDAD CHURCH
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. That report TR-70-88 be received for information.
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
At the G.P.A. Meeting of December 7, 1987, Resolution #GPA-957-87 was
approved. Said resolution authorized the transfer of $6,500.00 in 1987
from the Contingency Account to the Municipal Grants Policy Reserve to
offset costs incurred with respect to expansion of the Eldad Cemetery.
All costs have now been submitted and total $6,998.00 which is $498.00
more than authorized by Council.
In view of the fact that the work has now been completed and invoices
submitted for payment during the summer recess, staff approved the
overexpenditure of $498.00 to be charged against the 1988 Contingency
Account.
