SUBJECT:
APPLICATIONS TO THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION
REGARDING 1987 FINAL SUBSIDY APPLICATIONS FOR
HANDI-TRANSIT AND ROAD SUBSIDY AND 1988 APPLICATIONS
FOR SAME.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to Council the following:
1 . That the Treasurer be authorized to petition to the
Ministry of Transportation for Final Subsidy on road
expenditures in the Public Works Department from
January 1 , 1987 to December 31, 1987 .

2 . That the Treasurer be authorized to submit Interim
Subsidy applications , Supplementary applications and
Final Subsidy application for 1988 to the Ministry of
Transportation as they become due .
3 . That the Treasurer be authorized to petition to the
Ministry of Transportation for Subsidy Allocation
for the transportation of the physically disabled
based on 1987 expenditures .
4 . That the Treasurer be authorized to submit Interim
Subsidy applications and Final Subsidy application
for 1988 to the Ministry of Transportation as they
become due .

BACKGROUND 6 COMMENTS:
It is n requirement of the Ministry of Transportation that
Interim Subsidy applications , Final Subsidy applications
and Supplementary applications be made each year in order
to be eligible for receipt of Subsidy payments from the
Ministry. This resolution can be general in nature and will
be placed with each application for payment as they are
submitted .
