SUBJECT: Use of Apparatus Bay - Fire Station #4,
Courtice

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
1) THAT permission be granted to the Band Parents
Association of Courtice Secondary School for the
use of the south apparatus bay, fire station 04,
Courtice, to store, sort and dispense fruit during
the first week of December 1982.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
This is an annual fund raising event held by the Band Parents Association of
Courtice Secondary School , at which time a tractor-trailer load of boxed fruit
(grapefruit, oranges) is purchased from a grower in Texas. The delivery
requires a heated building in which to unload the trailer and dispense the
fruit to the supporters of the event. This usually requires approximately two
days to sort, pick up or deliver.
The event last year was well organized and did not present any problems to the
operation of the fire department,
