SUBJECT: Proclamation - Fire Prevention Week

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the week of October 3rd to 9th, 1982, be
proclaimed as "FIRE PREVENTION WEEK" in the
Town of Newcastle. (3 local newspapers)
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
The first week of October is proclaimed "International Fire Prevention Week"
throughout the United States and Canada, at which time a special emphasis is
placed on fire prevention and fire safety.
The proclamation should appear in the three local newspapers for the week of j
September 27, 1982.
