FD 27-84. SUBJECT: Use of apparatus bay - Fire Stdition No. 4, Courtice. ---------------------------------------- ----------------------------- RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended: THAT permission be,granted to the Band Parents ' Association of Courtice Secondary School for the use of the south apparatus bay, Fire Station` #4, Courtice, to store, sort and dispense fruit during the week of December 3rd. i ----------------------------=---------------------------------------- BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: This is an annual fund raising event held by the Band Parents ' Associa- tion of Courtice Secondary School , at which time a tractor trailer load of boxed fruit, (grapefruit, oranges) is purchased from a grower in i Texas. The delivery requires a heated building in which to unload the trailer and dispense the// fruit to supporters of the event. This usually requires approximately two days to sort, pickup or deliver. Aldridge 132 Church Street Bokzranville, Ontario L1C 1T5 Dear Chief Aldridge: Once again the Band Parents' Association of this school will organize a citrus fruit fund raising campaign to assist the Music Department. A truckload of citrus fruit is expected to arrive on Tuesday, December 4th. Hopefully all orders will be completed by Saturday, December 8th. On behalf of the organizers of this campaign, I request the use of a bay of the Courtice Fire Hall to serve as a depot for the fruit. Thank you for your consideration of this request. Yours truly, E.
