THAT this report be received for information.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS
I am pleased to report that eight Town of Newcastle Firefighters have
recently attended and successfully completed the St. John' s Ambu-
lance First Aid Course for basic first aid.
There are now 27 Fire Department members who have received First Aid
Certificates and 30 qualified C.P.R. Certificate holders.
I congratulate the members who have received certificates and will
endeavour to make available as many courses as are offered, to permit
members of the Department to increase their knowledge and skills in
fire safety and firefighting.
Respectfully submitted,
i
l
J Aldridge,
Fire Chief.
