SUBJECT: PROCLAMATION AND DISPLAY FOR FIRE PREVENTION WEEK
OCTOBER 6th - 11th
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended:

1 . ) THAT this report be received; and
2. ) THAT the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend
to Council that October 6th to 11th, 1986 be proclaimed Fire Pre-
vention Week in the Town of Newcastle.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS
ire Prevention Week is approaching once again, being the week of October 6th
to 11th.
Activities planned for this year' s Fire Prevention Week are an Open House, at
Fire Station #1 , from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. , Monday to Friday. Also, ar-
rangements are being made for a display at the Bowmanville Mall , Thursday,
Friday and Saturday, with as many members of the Fire Department participating
as are available.
