SUBJECT: Station #1 Firefighters Association Car Wash for Muscular Dystrophy -
June 21 , 1986.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Admini-
stration Committee recommend to Council :
1 . ) THAT Fire Department Report Number FD-21 be received for in-
formation.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS
The Station #1 Firefighters' Association (Alert Fire Company) recently held a
:ar wash in aid of Muscular Dystrophy. The weather was very co-operative. I
am pleased to report on the great success of this car wash, with all proceeds
being donated to Muscular Dystrophy.
On behalf of the Town of Newcastle Fire Department, I would thank everyone
who contributed to this worthy cause.
