1, 2, 3 & 4 for the Town of Newcastle.

TOTE - A line counter wasinstalled on the Fire Department emergency telephone lines on April 21 , 1987.
As at the end of this month the counter indicates that the total number of calls received on these lines was 2,590.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES
Fire Safety Courses - Strathaven Nursing Home - Oct. 21/87 - 51 adults attended.
Fire Exting. Demo. - Bowmanville Memorial Hospital - October 8/87 - 49 adults attended.
Fire Prevention Week - October 5th - 9th - 103 school children toured Station 1 during
the week along with numerous parents and adults.
