RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that By-law 81-71 be

lifted from the table and given a third and final reading.
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
On May 25, 1981, the Planning and Development Committee
considered staff report P-93-81 (copy attached) . Among the recommen-
dations contained therein, which were adopted by Council on June 1,
1981, was the requirement that the attached amendment to Restricted
Area By-law 1592, as amended, be read a first and second time and tabled

pending finalization of the procedure to amend the Heritage designation
applicable to the subject lands. A By-law effecting this amendment to
the Heritage designation has been placed on the Agenda for this meeting)

and should be approved pp prior to the third reading of the Zoning By-law.

At such time as the aforementioned By-laws are in place,
the other outstanding matters related to this site; being the exchange
of properties with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications
and the finalization of a Site Plan Agreement with the future owners
may take place.
