SUBJECT: By-law 40-81 -- The Corporation of the City of Oshawa

RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning and Development Committee recommend
to Council:
1. That By-law 40-81 of the City of Oshawa be received
and filed.
BACKGROUND:
By-law 40-81 of the City of Oshawa was forwarded to the
Planning and Development Department June 5, 1981. The By-law rezones a
parcel of land in the City of Oshawa from 'M-lA' and 'M-1B' to 'C-1 Special
Condition 103' in order to permit the construction of a single-storey build-
ing for limited office, wholesale and retail uses.
COMMENT: �
The subject land is located at the northwest corner of Simcoe
Street North and Russett Avenue in the City of Oshawa and does not affect the
interests of the Town of Newcastle. Accordingly, no action on the rezoning

by-law is required. The last date for filing objections is June 24,
1981.
