BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
For the past several weeks, staff have been negotiating the details
i
of the Wilmot Creek Pedestrian Bridge, Clarington Waterfront Trail,
with representatives from the Province of Ontario.
One of the conditions for funding imposed by the Province is that
the work be substantially completed by the Spring of 1995 . In
order to meet this deadline, it is necessary to award this contract
so that work can commence before there is frost in the ground.
