Subject: QUOTATION Q94-3, PHOTOCOPIER PAPER SUPPLY
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report TR-27-94 be received;
2 . THAT Unisource Canada Inc . , Richmond Hill, Ontario, with a
total price of $10,566 .73, be awarded the contract for the
supply and delivery of Photocopier Paper, as required by the
Municipality of Clarington for 1994; and
3 . THAT the funds expended be drawn from the various 1994 Current
Budget Accounts.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Quotations were issued for the supply and delivery of Photocopier
Paper as required by the Municipality of Clarington for 1994 . As
in past years, bidders were requested to quote on Recycled Paper
composed of 50% recycled, 40% waste and 10% post-consumer.
Subsequently, bids were received and tabulated as follows:

The required funds will be drawn from the various 1994 current
budget accounts .
For the information of Council, the total bid prices are based on
an estimated annual usage of the various sizes of paper.
The unit prices submitted represent an approximate 2% increase over
the 1993 prices .
After further review and analysis by Purchasing of the bids
submitted, it is recommended that Unisource Canada Inc . be awarded
the contract for the supply and delivery of photocopy paper as
required.
The subject firm has provided satisfactory service to the
Municipality of Clarington in past years .
