Subject: CL94-28, CONSTRUCTION OF BASKETBALL COURTS
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report TR-34-94 be received;
2 . THAT Tri Son Contracting Inc. , Prince Albert, Ontario, with a
total bid price of $29,848 .24, be awarded the contract for
construction of two (2) basketball courts, as requested by the
Municipality of Clarington; and
3 . THAT the funds expended be drawn from the Community Services
1994 Capital Budget Account #7603-00001-0516 .
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
A tender was publicly advertised and issued with the following bids
being submitted:

The required funding will be drawn from The Community Services
approved 1994 Capital Budget Account #7603-00001-0516 and are
within the $44,000. 00 allocation as reflected on Page 202 of the
Draft Capital Budget. The subject firm have previously performed
satisfactorily for the Municipality of Clarington.
After further review and analysis of the bids by Purchasing and
Community Services, it is recommended that Tri Son Contracting,
Prince Albert, Ontario, be recommended for the contract award, for
the construction of two (2) Basketball Courts, as required by the
Municipality of Clarington.
