Subject: PRE-BUDGET TENDERING - 1995 BUDGET ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . THAT Report TR-8-95 be received;
2 . THAT approval be given to proceed with the following pre-
budget tendering as identified below:

BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
The 1995 Budget is tentatively scheduled to be brought to Council
for consideration and deliberation in March 1995 .
In order to take advantage of potential pricing benefits of an
early tender issue as well as to get an early construction
commencement, it is recommended that approval be given for an early
tender call for the above two projects in advance of the approval
by Council of the 1995 Budget .

The tendering process requires that Council approve the staff
