THAT Report TR-81-95 be received; I 2 . THAT the procedure set out in Purchasing By-law No. 94-129, j Section 5, Paragraph 06, be waived for this particular transaction; and I 3 . THAT invoice #1284 in the amount of $29, 250 . 00 , from the Region of Durham be processed, with the required funds being drawn from the Garbage Collection, Misc . Operating Supplies Account #7303-00000-0169 . BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: At a meeting held on September 12 , 1994 , Council passed the following Resolution #GPA-562-94" "THAT Report WD-46-94 be received; and THAT Durham Region be requested to pay the cost of the purchase of blue boxes and the collection cost for the extension of the Blue Box Service to the rural areas of Clarington. " On October 26, 1994 , the Region of Durham approved Report #94-J-16 , recommending that area Municipalities reimburse the Region for the cost of the blue boxes . Funds in the amount of $28, 000 . 00 were included in the 1995 Public Works Garbage Collection, Misc . Operating Supplies Account #7303- 00000-0169 .
