Subject: SD97-1, SALE OF 53 KING STREET EAST, BOWMANVILLE
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . THAT Report TR-45-97 be received; and
2 . THAT bid the received from Tom White, Boville Holdings Inc . ,
Hampton, Ontario, be rejected.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
SD97-1 was issued and advertised for the sale of 53 King Street
East, Bowmanville . Advertisements were placed in the local papers,
The Toronto Star, as well as on the Internet . A total of eight (8)
interested proponents picked up the tender package .
Subsequently, bids were received and tabulated as follows :

Based on the above, it is the recommendation of staff that the bid
from Tom White, Boville Holdings Inc . , be rejected.
The Property Manager will report as soon as possible regarding the
options available for the building and the property.
