(416)263-2231 REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF MARCH 22, 1982 REPORT NO. : PD-41 -82 SUBJECT: PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO SITE PLAN AGREEMENT 81 -69: PART OF LOTS 9 AND 10, CONCESSION 1 , FORMER TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON, PORT DARLINGTON - MARINA HOTEL RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1 . That Report PD-41-82 be received; and 2. The attached amendment to the Development Agreement between Port Darlington Marina Hotel Ltd. and the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, authorized by By-law 81-69, be approved for execution; and 3. That the attached By-law authorizing execution of an Agreement between the Port Darlington Marina Hotel and the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle be approved. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: On February 3, 1982, staff received an application to amend Site Plan Agreement 81-69 between the Town and the Port Darlington Marina Hotel . The lands subject to that Agreement are located south of the existing Port Darlington Hotel Marina Complex and include the proposed seasonal accommodation units. f V' / U i Report No. : PD-41-82 . . ./2 The amendment request arises from an oversight on Schedule C, Plan 1 , of the original agreement. Said plan, part of the registered agreement, does not show the full extent of the parking areas that were intended to be part of the development. As such, staff are now recommending that the original agreement be amended by deleting Schedule C, Plan 1 , and replacing it with a revised Schedule C, Plan 1 , which correctly depicts all parking areas. As this amendment is viewed as a very minor change to the site plan agreement, the application has not been circulated in accordance with our normal procedures. The draft amendment to Site Plan agreement 81-69 has been signed by the owner and it would now be appropriate to forward the amendment to Council for execution. Respectfaly submitted, T. T. Edwards, M.C.I.P. Director of Planning FA/mjc February 16, 1982
