(416)263-2231 REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF JANUARY 25, 1982. REPORT NO. : PD-7-82 Subject: By-law Number 80-81 The Corporation of the Township of Scugog. Recommendation: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. By-law Number 80-81 of the Township of Scugog be re- ceived and filed. Background and Comments: By-law 80-81 of the Corporation of the Township of Scugog was forwarded to the Planning and Development Department on December 17, 1981. The By-law rezones the rear portions of existing residential lots on Plan 4OR-2977 located in Lot 24, Concession 12 and 13 in the Township of Scugog from (EP) Environmental Protection to (HR) Hamlet - Residential. The By-law would permit building within this type of zoning. The subject residential subdivision is located in an area of Scugog Township which would not affect the interests of the Town of Report No. : PD-7-82 .. . .2 Newcastle. Therefore, no action of the rezoning by-law is required. We note that the last date for filing objections was January S, 1982. Respect u�,11 miffed, T. T. December 17, 1981. f NOTICE OF APPLICATION to The Ontario Municipal Board by .The Corporation of the Township of Scugog for = 4 approval of a by-law to regulate land use passed pursuant to -Section 3-9 of The Planning Act. ..TAXE NOTICE that th6 Council of the Corporation of the Township of Scugog ,intends to apply to The Ontario Municipal Board pursuant to the provisions of Section 39 of The Planning Act for approval of B3°-Law 80-81 passed on the 7th day of December � 1981. A copy of the by-law is furnished shed herewith and a note giving an explanation of the .purpose and effect of the by-lair and stating the lands- affected thereby is also furnnished herewith. ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within twenty-once (21) days after the date of this notice, send by registered mail or deliver to the clerk of the Town- , ship of Scugog notice of objection to approval of the said by-law or part thereof giving details of all or the portion of the by-law to which you object_and. detailed reasons therefor, and sha.l.l indicate that if a het - ifg is .held the objector or any agent will attend at the hearing to support the objection. ANY -PERSON wishing to support the application for approval of: the by-Raw may within twenty-one (21) days after the. date of this notice send by registered mail or deliver to the clerk .of the Township of Scugog notice of his support of approval of the said by-law together with .a request fer:n otice of any. hearing that may be 'held giving also the name d address t6 which such notice should be given. 'TIE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD may approve of the said by-lava but before doing so it may appoint a. time and place when any objection to the by- law..will be- considered. Notice of any hearing that itay be held will be .given only to persons who have filed an objection or notice of support and who have left with or delivered to the clerk undersigned, the address to which notice of hearing is to- be sent and, similarly, to any person who has filed a request for a change in the -provisions of the by-Raw. AND WHEREAS the materials herein set forth are considered to be in conformity with the Official Plan of the Township of Scugog; NOW THEREFORE .
