REPORT TO THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING OF August 9, 1979.

SUBJECT: Application for Rezoning Z-A-1-4-4
Part Lot 21, Concession 2, Darlington
S. Preston
BACKGROUND:
The above mentioned application was considered by the Planning
and Development Committee on July 5, 1979 and the following resolution
passed:
"That the recommendation in Report P-112-79 be endorsed
and application Z-A-1-4-4, Part Lot 21, Concession 2,
Darlington (Stewart Preston) , not be approved."
(P & D Resolution #PD 318-79)
The recommendation of the Planning and Development Committee
was considered by Council at its meeting of July 16th, 1979 and the
following action taken:
"Item 7 - Referred back to the next meeting of the Planning
(Preston) and Development Committee to give the proponents an
opportunity of defining any problems which exist re-
garding the application."
Staff met with Mr. Preston's solicitor on July 26, 1979 to dis-
cuss the application. k�n�

COMMENT:
The proponents are to revise the application and submit new
plans showing a common entranceway with the lands abutting the site
to be rezoned. Upon receipt of the revised plans and recirculation,
staff will forward a further report to Planning and Development
Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
That this report be received for information.
