REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE
MEETING OF NOVEMBER 15, 1982
REPORT NO. : PD-188-82
SUBJECT: BY-LAW NUMBER 64-82:
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the
following:
1 . That Report PD-188-82 be received; and
2. That By-law Number 64-82 of the Township of
Scugog be received and filed.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
By-law 64-82 of the Township of Scugog was forwarded to the
Planning and Development Department on October 18, 1982.
The subject By-law is an amendment to Restricted Area
(Zoning) By-law 75-80 of the Township of Scugog, which would
remove an existing "M3-Rural Industrial Zone" and would
replace this zone with an "M3-7 Rural Industrial Exception
Seven Zone" in order to conform with the policies of the
Region of Durham Official Plan.

Report No: PD-188-82 .../2
The lands affected by this zoning change are located in Part
of Lot 16, concession 7, Township of Scugog, and would not
have an effect on the Town of Newcastle. Therefore, no
further action on this By-law would be required. However,
the last date for filing objections was November 4, 1982.
