SUBJECT: BY-LAW NUMBER 37-82:
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the
following:
1 . That Report PD-115-82 be received; and
2. That By-law Number 37-82 of the Township of
Scugog be received and filed.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
By-law Number 37-82 of the Township of Scugog was forwarded
to the Planning and Development on June 23, 1982. The
subject By-law is an amendment to Restricted Area By-law No.
75-80 as amended, of the former Township of Scugog in order
to establish a minimum building area of 132 square metres
for the Bruce Seagrave Subdivision located in part of Lot
24, Concession 12, within the Township of Scugog.

The lands affected by this By-law amendment are located
within an area of Scugog which would not have an effect on
the Town of Newcastle and therefore no further action on
this By-law would be required. However, the last date for
filing objections was July 9, 1982.

:I WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the 'Township

of Scugog has given due consideration to this matter and further
considers it be desirable to amend Restricted Area By-Law No.
75-80 as amended by By-Lase 72-81 .
I; AND WHEREAS the materials herein set forth are considered '

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE

delineated on the Zone Map attached hereto on
Schedule "Al" and forming kart of this By-Law, the
minimum lot frontage requirement shall be 45 metres
and the minimum gross floor area requirement shall
be 132 square metres . In all other respects the
provisions of the Estate Residential (ER) Zone shall
apply and be complied with.
2 . That By-Law 29-82 he and the same is hereby repealed ,
