SUBJECT: BY-LAW NUMBER 34-82:
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the
following:
1 . That Report PD-114-82 be received; and
2. That By-law Number 34-82 of the Township of
Scugog be received and filed.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
By-law Number 34-82 of the Township of Scugog was forwarded
to the Planning and Development Department on June 23, 1982.
The subject By-law is an amendment to Zoning By-law Number
15-80 of the Township of Scugog, in order to reduce the
minimum lot area requirements of the By-law from 4085 square
metres to 2889 square metres for industrial lots located on
the east side of Simcoe Street, north of Regional Road 8.

The lands affected by this amendment are located within an
area of Scugog which would not have an effect on the Town of
Newcastle and therefore no further action on this By-law
would be required. However, the last date for filing
objections was July 9, 1982.

BY-LAW NUMBER 34-82
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND ZONING BY-LAW
NUMBER 1S-80, AS AMENDED. PASSED PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 39 OF THE
PLANNING ACT. (C".P.LAN SUBDIVISION)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Scugog enacted Zoning By-Law Number 15--80;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend. By-Laser
Number 15-8a0 with respect to the Carlan Subdivision.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP
OFF SCUCQC Enacts As :Follows :
1 . That Section 7 . 31a.) of By-Layer Number 15--50 be amended to
read as follows :
"MINIMUM LOT AREA 2889 Square Metres :
2. That this By-Law sha�1 come into full farce and effect on
the date of passing subject to the approval of The Ontario
Municipal Board .
Read a First , Second and Third time and finally passed this
14th day of June, 1982 .
