(416)263-2231 REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF JUNE 28, 1982 REPORT NO. : PD-104-82 SUBJECT: BY-LAW NUMBER 29-82 - THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1 . That Report PD-104-82 be received; and 2. That By-law Number 29-82 of the Township of Scugog be received and filed. BACKGROUND: By-law Number 29-82 of the Township of Scugog was forwarded to the Planning and Development Department on June 11 , 1982. The subject By-law is an amendment to Restricted Area By-law No. 75-80 of the former Township of Scugog to reduce the required minimum gross floor area of residential dwellings in the ER, Estate Residential Zone, from 185 square metres to 132 square metres. The lands affected by this By-law amendment are lands located in Part of Lot 24, Concession 12 and 13 within the Township of Scugog. w. Report No: PD-104-82 .. ./2 Therefore, since this amendment affects lands located within the Township of Scugog which would not have an effect on the Town of Newcastle, then no further action on this By-law would be required. Director of Planning EP*TTE*mjc June 15, 1982 JUN 11 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGO - F BY-LAW NUMBER 29- 82 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND ZONING BY-LAW NUMBER 75-80, AS AMENDED, PASSED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 39 OF THE PLANNING ACT. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Scugog enacted Zoning By-Law Number 75-80; AND WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-Law Number 75-80 with respect to the Estate Residential Zone . NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG Enacts As Follows : 1 . That Section 4. 5. 2 (d) of By-Law Number 75-80 be amended to read as follows : "MINIMUM GROSS FLOOR AREA REQUIREMENT 132 Square Metres" . 2 . That this By-Law shall come into full force and effect on the date of passing subject to the approval of The Ontario Municipal Board. Read a First , Second and Third time and finally passed this 31st day of May, 1982 . THE OhTARIC MNICIPAL BakRD may approve of the said by-laa but before doing so it may appoint a time and place when any objection to the by- law will be considered. Notice of any hearing that may be held will be given only to persons who have filed an objection or notice of support and who have left with or delivered to the cler'A undersigned, the address to which notice of hearing is to be sent and, similarly, to any person who has filed a request :For a change in the provisions of the by-law. Explanatory Note: By-Law No. 29-82 The purpose and effect of the attached By-Law N='ber 29-82 is to further amend Restricted Area By-Law No. 75-80, as amended, to reduce the required minimum gross floor area for a residential dwelling in the ER, Estate Residential, Zone. from 1,85 square metres to 132 square metres. Lands Affected: The lands affected by this BY-Law presently zoned ER, Estate Residential are located at Part Lot 24, Concessions 12 and 13, Ward 1 in the Township of Scugog.
