Report No: PD-76-83 . ../2
BACKGROUND:
On March 16th, 1983, the subject plan of subdivision
received draft plan approval from the Regional Municipality
of Durham. Subsequently, on March 31st, 1983, a proposed i
Subdivision Agreement was submitted for the Town 's review on
behalf of Gearing Farms Limited. The proposed Agreement was
circulated in accordance with Departmental procedure, and
required revisions discussed with the applicant's consultant
on April 28th , 1983. The necessary revisions were
incorporated, and a copy forwarded to the applicant who has
indicated his concurrence with the contents of the
Agreement, subject to insertion of the appropriate cost
estimates and technical details relative to road
construction and any easements or cash payments that may be
required.
It is anticipated that this information will be available
within the next three to four weeks, and inasmuch as the
applicant is desirous of registering the subject plan
sometime in June, it would be appropriate for Council to
authorize execution of the subject Agreement, provided that
Council concurs with the contents thereof, and subject to
any minor modifications or revisions that may be required as
a result of final review by the Town 's Solicitor.
