That Report PD-31-83 be received ; and 2. That By-law 157-82 of the City of Oshawa be received and filed. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: By-law Number 157-82 of the City of Oshawa was forwarded to the Planning and Development Department on January 31, 1983. The subject By-law changes the zoning of a parcel of land located on the west side of Harmony Road North, north of Rossland Road East within the City of Oshawa. The zoning of these lands will be changed from "A to R-2A" and from "A to Special Condition 58" in order to implement the development of a plan of subdivision consisting of thirty (30) semi -detached units , and, a park block. ^ fA i Report No: PO-31-83 .. .12 This By-law amendment covers an area of the City of Oshawa which would have no effect on the interests of the Town of Newcastle, and therefore no further action on this amendment is required. A copy of the by-law is furnished herewith. A note giving an explanation of the purpose and effect of the by-law and stating the lands affected thereby is also furnished herewith. ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY within twenty-one (21) days after the date of this I notice, send by registered mail or deliver to the Clerk of the City of Oshawa notice of objection to approval of the said by-law or part thereof giving details of all or the portion of the by-law to which you, object and detailed reasons therefor, and shall indicate that if a hearinq is held the objector or an agent will attend at the hearinq to supportjt:he objection. i ANY PERSON wishing to support the application for approval of the by-law may within twenty-one (21) days after the date of this notice send by registered mail or deliver to the Clerk of the City of Oshawa notice of his support of approval of a the said by-law together with a request for notice of any hearing that may be held i giving the name and address ,to which such notice should be given. THE ONTARIO t1UNICIPAL BOARD may approve of the said by-law but before doing so it � I j may appoint a time and place when any objection to the by-law will be considered. HENDERSON, CITY CLERK 50 CENTRE STREET SOUTH OSHAWA, ONTARIO. i �; I A0 HY-I.AW P11 MM:1) 157-f3Z O P•' TIPS CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF OSHAWA I being a by-law to further amend By-law PPumber 3415 of the Corporation of the city of Oshawa as amended and By-law 1757 of the former Corporation of the Township of East Whitby as amended. lil; IT P;PIACTIA) APII) IT IS PIEREBY EPIACTEP) as a by-law of the Corporation of the City of Oshawa by the Council thereof as follows: 1, By-law Plumber 1757 of the former Corporation of the i 'Pownship of East Whitby as amended he and the same is hereby further amended by amending Sheet Number 7 of Schedule "B" to By-law Plumber 1757 by deleting a parcel of land situated on the west side of Harmony Road PPorth, north of Rossland Road East and having an approximate frontage of 124 metres on Harmony Road North as shown on Schedule "A" to this by-law and the regulations of By-law Plumber 1757 shall hereafter cease to apply to the said parcel of land. 2, By-law Plumber 3415 of the Corporation of the City of Oshawa as amended is hereby further amended by adding the parcel of land referred to in paragraph 1 of this by-law to Sheet Plumber 3 of Appendix "A" of By-1aNINjmher 3415 and the said Sheet ?lumber 3 shall be amended to include the land described in paragraph 1 and the regulations govetninq the use of the land shall henceforth i be the regulations now contained in By-law Number 3415 and hereinafter enacted to apply to the said land. 3, By-law Plumber 3415 is further amended by designating the parcel of land, described in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this by-law, partially R-2A and partially Special Condition "58" so that Sheet Plumber 3 shall he amended as shown on the revised Sheet Plumber 3 attached hereto as Schedule "B" . No part of this by-law shall come into force without the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board but subject thereto this by-law shall take effect from the date of its passing .
