THAT Report PD-219-86 be received for information. BACKGROUND: Jn August 25, 1986 the Planning Department received a copy of two (2) applications for i consent submitted to the Hope Township Committee of Adjustment. Mr. John Rout made two (2) applications for consent to consolidate lands to create lots more suitable for rural residential . The need to eliminate land-locked parcels of land, due to the creation of a hydro corridor, is another factor in the re-organization. This site is located a adz cent to Lot 1 Broken Front Concession in the former Township of Clarke. The Durham Region Official Plan has this are designated as "Permanent Agricultural Reserve" and the Town of Newcastle Comprehensive Zoning By-law 84-63 designates the lands "Agricultural (A)". i . . .2 REPORT NO.: PD-2105-86 Page 2 Planning Staff have reviewed these applications and found them to be consistent with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law. By letter dated September 8, 1986, the Planning Department advised the Hope Township Committee of Adjustment that the Town had no objection to this application. Respectfullysabmitted, (f % %r T.T.
