SUBJECT: REZONING APPLICATION - 677922 ONTARIO LTD. (VICTOR HUTTMAN)
PART LOT 24, CONCESSION 5, DARLINGTON

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-221-86 be received; and
2. THAT the application submitted by Victor Huttman to rezone a 6.51 heutdre pdruel in
Part Lot 24, Concession 5, former Township of Darlington to permit the development
of thirteen (13) residential dwelling units be referred to Staff for processing and
subsequent report and public hearing.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On August 25, 1986, the Planning Department received an application submitted by Mr.
Victor Huttman to rezone a 6.51 hectare ( 16.085 acre) parcel of land in Part Lot 24,
* Concession 5, former Township of Darlington (see attached map). The purpose of the
rezoning would be to permit the development of thirteen (13) residential lots in the
Hamlet of Sol i na.
* The application has been circulated to various agencies for comment and attached is a copy
of the circulation letter and key plan for Council 's information.

At this time, there has been an application submitted to amend the Solina
Hamlet Plan in conjunction with this application. Staff is currently
examining the application to revise the Hamlet Plan. We would also note
that a formal application for Draft Plan of Subdivision approval has not yet
been submitted. Accordingly, this rezoning can not be finalized until both
of the foregoing have been dealt with.
It is recommended that the application be received for information and
referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time as the
necessary approvals have been granted and the rezoning circulation has been
completed, Staff shall schedule this application for a public meeting of the
General Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements of
the Planning Act.
